Francesco Borromini

Francesco Borromini (25^th September 1599 Bissone - 3^rd August 1667 Rome) was an Italian architect, creator of the dynamic baroque.

His church buildings are characterized by complex ground plans, the separate inside space and the interior independent of it. The buildings of Borromini inspired the Czech architect Jan Blazej Santini-Aichel.
